Fourteen Years

Today was mine and Adam's 14th year together.  This is one of the first pictures we have together.  I was a Sophomore in high school and he was a Junior.  We happened to have French I together.  I had noticed him on the first few days of school.  Since my Freshman year, I had a crush on a guy named David Bowen.  He was one of the popular guys that didn't even know I existed.  For the first few days of school, I thought Adam was David since I was too embarassed to do anything but a few quick glances.  Turns out, Adam had noticed me too.  After the first week of school, he decided to make his move.  "Do you have any gum?" he asked me.  I don't remember if I did or didn't but that's where it all began.  Of course I realized he was not David and I am so thankful!  I totally ended up with the better guy and not only that, but he is the perfect guy for me.  I know without any doubt that he is who God had intended for me all along.
