I asked the kids to name five things they are thankful for.
Houston:
Baby Holt, my whole family, our big, huge house, for the world, and food.
Hayes:
Holt, Hawkins, and I'm thank you for (how he says thankful for) Mommy and Daddy, (then after 2 minutes of thinking) Houston, and (because she was in sight and he was tired of thinking) the cat
Because Hawkins did not understand "thankful for", I asked him to name things that he loved.
Hawkins:
Candy, fruit snacks, Holt, Grammy, Mommy and Daddy (glad to know where we stand on his list)
"I go play my room now" he tells me as he walks off imitating a shooting gun with his ice man Bionicle.
