Reaching New Heights

I generally do not spend much time in the boys' room.  In fact, I am only in there for brief periods each day.  (waking them each morning, picking their clothes out, putting clothes up, and our good-night routine)  Therefore, I am not sure at which point one of them had a "genius" idea.  I was seated in their room, pulling out summer clothes and exchanging them with winter attire when I noticed markings on things that should not have markings.

As most families do, we measure our children on a doorframe.  Every few months (or whenever we remember) we make a tick mark on the frame and write the child's name with the date.  Apparently, the kids thought it a good idea to do the same thing with their stuffed animals.  However, for whatever reason, they decided to measure them on the bed post.

The "stages" have something to do with Pokemon (which Houston is really into right now).  These don't correspond with an animal.
