Road Rash

Oh yeah!  Wish I could say it was from a gnarly trick that he learned to do on his bike.  But unfortunately, it was because his shoes always look like this:

Running to the bus stop + Un-tied shoes = Major boo boo

And since he was running to the bus stop, he couldn't even come home for a comforting hug or band-aid.  I had to send him on to the bus stop as to not miss the bus.

Adam and I are on him constantly about keeping his shoes tied.  We've even considered sending him to school without shoes on so he will appreciate his shoes more.  Perhaps this little lesson, though slightly more painful, doesn't hurt as much and will still re-iterate the point.
