Crafting Weekend -- Day 2

We began our Saturday morning with a breakfast of steak biscuits and cinnamon rolls at Mrs. Winners to get us jump started for a busy day of crafting and cleaning.  The volcano had not dried overnight, so we sat it outside while Adam and the boys cleaned out the garage.  This turned out to be pretty much an all day affair.  Thankfully, the weather was beautiful and the kids had a blast playing with their trucks, riding their bikes, drawing with chalk, and everything else that had been uncovered from the abyss.

That night we all sat down to paint the ornaments and the volcano.  Again, wish I had pictures.  Give me a break, I'm new to this blogging thing.  I promise to get better.

Here is the series of excitement from tonight when Adam actually made the volcano erupt:

When the volcano was all done and had erupted at least a dozen times, Houston emphatically rated it a 13 on a scale of 1 to 2.  Obviously, Hayes had the biggest smile.  Hawkins summed it all up by saying, "Mom, 'das awesome!"  (By the way, that was the first time he had ever used the word awesome.)
