Monster Dessert

With life so busily on the go lately, we have not had a family dinner at home in several weeks.  I cooked tonight and it was great to be around the dinner table once again.  I had not planned on a dessert, but the kids insisted on a dessert.  So, I did what any resourceful Mom would do and made a deal with them.  I'll whip up a really awesome dessert if they cleaned their room in enough time to still eat the dessert before bed.  Totally worked!  (this time)

The dessert stayed a surprise.  We had them all sit around the table with their eyes closed while we placed the desserts in front of them.  You would have thought it was Chrismas morning.  The anticipation was killing them!  Open your eyes...
